Why does Easter matter?, the Friends and Heroes Lent Course, created especially for Biblefresh, was given the Christian Broadcasting Council’s Silver Award for Best DVD Based Training Resource last week.
The King James Version of the Bible was a major family resource for hundreds of years, and it was for this reason that Friends and Heroes were inspired to create a special Bible based resource aimed at families for this Biblefresh year.
The result was Why does Easter matter? which was released in January 2011, ready for use as a Lent course. The DVD contains five episodes of Friends and Heroes, and includes Biblical content by Revd. Stephen Gaukroger. Created with all ages in mind, Friends and Heroes has been recommended by Messy Church, and several churches across the UK actually used it as part of their Good Friday and Easter services this year.
