General
1. Where can I buy the Biblefresh book?
The Biblefresh book can be bought in your local Christian bookshop or online at various retailers. These are two of the most well-known.
Eden http://www.eden.co.uk/shop/biblefresh-2747227.html
Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Biblefresh-Evangelical-Alliance/dp/1860248020
2. Could you post me a leaflet about Biblefresh or send me a copy of the leaders guide?
All of our resources are only available online. The two best places for information about Biblefresh are on our webpage: What is Biblefresh and by downloading the Church Leaders Guide which can be printed for distribution to your church.
3. I would like to receive your monthly email. How do I sign up?
Go to this webpage and enter your details! http://www.biblefresh.com/about/#signup
Downloads
4. I would like to use the Biblefresh logo on my publicity material. Where can I find it?
You can download the logo from the downloads section of our website. http://www.biblefresh.com/get-involved/downloads/. Simply right click and save to your computer.
5. I want to give a presentation on Biblefresh to my church / group of churches / organisation.
Is there a PowerPoint presentation which I could use?
We have produced a presentation which you could use ‘straight from the box’, or adapt it, as you require. It is available in a high resolution and low resolution format on the downloads section of our website. http://www.biblefresh.com/get-involved/downloads/. Please feel free to create your own presentation. We would be happy to post one or two of the best on our website.
6. Is there a video which I can play to my church about Biblefresh.
Visit the downloads section of our website: http://www.biblefresh.com/get-involved/downloads/. There are two different videos which you can download: Inspiration and Excite. If you have enthusiastic talented people in your church that would be keen to create their own video / presentation, please encourage them in that. We would be happy to post the best of these on the Biblefresh website.
7. I can’t download the video. How do I do it?
If you are using Internet Explorer you need to right-click on the link e.g. Download .mp4 version (~93 MB) and then select ‘Save Target As. .’ A dialogue box should then pop-up after a few moments which will ask you where you would like to save the file. You need to choose a location. It will then download. You need to make sure that you don’t have a pop-up blocker activated for the webpage, otherwise it could prevent you downloading it.
Resources
8. I have a great resource for your website. Would it fit in with Biblefresh? How do I send you information about it?
If you’ve read our Leaders Guide, looked at the website (particularly the What is Biblefresh page) read the book and you think your idea / resource fits in with Biblefresh, it probably does! We would suggest you tell your church and churches in your area about it, as they may well be interested in using your expertise to hold a Biblefresh Experience.
We could also post the resource / idea on our website. Whilst we would love to be able to post every resource or idea, as a small team we can’t post everything. If you would like to see your resource posted on the website you need to send us:
* 50 – 100 words (max) description of your resource which can be entered straight onto the website without editing.
* A small image in the jpeg format that is no bigger than 300 x 300 pixels.
Unfortunately we won’t be able to upload any resources which come in a different format.
If you would like a more immediate way of telling people about your resource, please ‘like’ our Facebook page and you will be able to share ideas and stories there, or get involved in our conversation on Twitter #biblefresh. If you include a link to a website in your tweet, it is likely an article will appear in the daily Biblefresh newspaper. We want you to share with each other!
9. I have heard about a book or resource that is part of Biblefresh. Where can I find more information?
In the first instance, please contact the provider who published or created the resource. As 2011 progresses we hope to have a really comprehensive catalogue of products which can be found on the Biblefresh website. In the meantime, Biblefresh may not have heard about all projects, resources, books or reading plans which have been produced by various Christian organisations or denominations.
10. I would like a speaker for my event to speak about Biblefresh or a related topic. Can you supply one?
The vision for Biblefresh is for churches to really take Biblefresh on board and to run with it themselves. Ideally a group of churches could group together and choose someone from among them to speak to the group. Failing this, we have a few speakers who may be able to speak in 2011 at various events. If you think you may fall into this category, email info@biblefresh.com with the following information:
1. When (approx) are you hoping to hold the event?
2. Are you thinking about a whole day event one Saturday or an evening event?
3. Did you have a particular month in mind?
4. Approximately how many people do you anticipate attending?
5. How would you publicise it?
