We know that there’s a wealth of creativity in the church, so we want to hear your ideas and share them with a wider audience.
- Have you come across a great resource, which we haven’t mentioned?
- Have you tried something different (could be really simple) that helped people engage with the Bible in a new way?
- Have you got a story to share with us?
We’d love to hear from you, so please do feed in your ideas using the form below.

We’re starting an organising group for Biblefresh based in High Wycombe Methodist Circuit, hoping to involve all local churches as well. We’d like to use the Biblefresh logo on any publicity for the many local Biblefresh events. Please may we do so? Please could you tell me how to actually obtain it as a simple jpeg file? Obviously I could scan it off existing lierature, but would prefer to do it properly.
Hi Mike,
It is great to hear that you are organising a group in High Wycombe – you are free to use the logo for this purpose. You can download the logo from the Get Involved / Downloads section of this website.
Best regards

Hello,
I’ve been sent your details by a friend as a source of potential resources. I’m working with a Belfast City Centre church to put together a flower festival linking in themes from the KJV 400 anniversary. The Bible in our hands is the underlying theme allowing us to bring the bible in modern communication right up to date and include current translation work bringing the bible to new languages for the first time. Its early days here but artifacts and items that can be included in displays are really essential. One other option being considered is an exhibition that can be carried on after in an empty shop display on the high street. My interest is in doing it all as part of a flower festival that will attract a wide range of people.
As this develops I’m sure we will be adding dramatic readings and speeches, some organ music and songs. So if anyone reading this has some creative interest in this project I’d love to hear from you.
Hi Ruby
This idea sounds really interesting and a great way of using floral art in a creative modern way to present Biblical themes. It would be great to hear how it develops. We are currently working on a new development for the website which would mean we could advertise the event so that people in the local area can get involved and attend. So, if you could send us details nearer the time that would be great. In the meantime hopefully someone can leave a message for you here if they have particular skills & abilities which they can contribute.
God Bless

Re:Creation is a new full length choral work – an oratorio- in contemporary Biblical language and tuneful accessible music telling the Bible story much as does Messiah but not relying on old English, German or Latin for the text. Sung by an accomplished choir, with 5 soloists and an orchestra(or competent pianist and organist) Re:Creation is also available in an abridged 60 minute version for those who want to put this new work alongside King James version choral works to create a full length concert.
Hi Derek
Thanks for letting us know about Re:Creation. Those who are interested might like to look up the entry on our Experience pages: http://www.biblefresh.com/resources/experiences/music/
I am getting some postcards printed as an evangelistic project alongside Biblefresh. The basic idea is that the front will have some sort of design (afraid I can’t be more specific until the guy I’ve asked to look at this gets back to me). Then the back will say something like ‘ let me share with you how the Bible has changed my life..’ or ‘I’m writing to tell you about an amazing story…’. I’m hoping to get a few different designs…but it will all depend on costs.
I’m getting several thousand printed – but if anyone would like to pre order some the prices get considerably cheaper the larger the print order. Possibly approx £40 per 500 cards.
go to http://www.newcastlemethodistdistrict.org for details of how to contact me (District Evangelism Enabler). Feel free to use the idea for yourself too.
I’d heard that a stamp was being produced next year with a Bible on. Does anyone have any info on this as it would be great to have those stamps on the cards.
Hi Elaine
Thanks for this information – these sound some great ideas. Yes, I understand there will be a set of stamps issued towards the end of 2011 to commemorate the anniversary. Unfortunately I think the design may not be released for quite a while.
All the best with your evangelism project. If you would like, we would be happy to share the postcard designs on the website at some point if you feel it would be helpful for others. We are hoping to extend our download section to include computer wallpaper and other creative material as time goes by.
Kind regards

Hi Guys
I cant see a place to make contact with you – is this ok to write here?
I want to include a piece in our notice sheet – do you have a “press release” or similar already made up that I can use?
And I’d love “download” a ready made poster eg size A4 or A5 to place on our notice board (or flyers to give out) about Bible Fresh! Or even book mark to give out – Are these avaialbe anywhere?
With many thanks
Last year we took up the challenge as a church to read through the Bible in a week with different people signing up to read aloud for an hour at a time. We read from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday (with some small groups doing evening slots as a group)and finished by reading Revelation as a group on the Sunday afternoon, and then read Rev 22 in the evening service. Reading from the Life Application Bible was helpful – because it meant people could check out things they didn’t understand as they went along, and we had a notebook for people to write in questions or to say how a particular passage had been significant.
We’d definately do this again!
