
1 Day Course
The Bible teaches that prayer is a vital part of the Christian life. In this workshop we examine several prayers from Scripture inductively and learn lessons that will revitalise your praying. You will also be introduced to the basics of inductive Bible study so you can continue to discover truth for yourself as you study the Word of God.

This Diploma provides training in expository preaching, with systematic theology and Bible Overview as a background. It is designed for Bible teachers and preachers. It takes place on one day per week (currently a Tuesday) during normal academic term time and lasts for two years. It will overlap with and supplement the present College Diploma in Theology course with an additional two sessions in the afternoon of one day per week.

1 Day Course
Using basic inductive Bible study skills, you will learn what the Bible teaches about how individual believers fit in Christ's body, the Church. This workshop focuses on the foundational elements of Spiritual Gifts. This is an exciting and much needed topical study day and many people have found it enlightening and challenging but very positive! (It is not an exhaustive study on Spiritual Gifts.)

New Testament Survey
We have a part-time programme on Tuesday evenings once a week and on four Saturdays per year. Each teaching unit takes place over eight weeks, with breaks for school half-terms, Christmas and Easter. You can use this programme to study for a two-year part-time Certificate in Theology validated by the University of Bristol. These classes will enable the student to complete 120 credits.If you prefer, you can simply audit a course (attend classes but not do any written work).This course will enable you to understand the big picture of the New Testament.

Learn to witness without fear by gaining a Biblical perspective on witnessing, which is both empowering and releasing. You will also be introduced to the basics of inductive Bible study so you can continue to discover truth for yourself as you study the Word of God.

1or 2 Day Course
Leave excited to know 'I can do it'. Overview a book, study a chapter, and learn to use an exhaustive concordance - all to change your life! Learn why and when to use specific inductive study skills.

1 - 2 Hours
Work through a lesson and understand the principles behind these studies. (40 Minutes Series are powerful, topical studies, 6 lessons long and with no homework. Perfect for small groups, 1:1 discipleship and a simple way for busy people to study the Bible and share it with others. Great for teenagers too.)

1 or 2 Hours
Work through a short passage of Scripture together, learning basic inductive study skills as you go. This taster session will equip you to better read the Bible and discover truth for yourself.

1/2 Day to 1 Day each
Work through a lesson and understand the principles behind these studies. (This series (NISS) covers books of the Bible and teaches the inductive method through spending 15 - 20 minutes a day in the Word of God. You systematically work through a Bible book, see the overview and trace the main themes. Day 7 of each lesson contains review application questions ideal for personal use and in small groups.)
Two terms
A course which introduces students to the riches and variety and powerful relevance of the OT and the NT - a level 1 course run over two terms each year, with a focus on the Pentateuch and the Gospels. It can be taken as a stand-alone course or as part of a CertHE (or higher) in Theology and Ministry.For further details look under 'Courses' at www.cranmerhall.com. We help leaders to set up small groups in their churches using Precept inductive studies and practically support those already leading them.

Bible, Church and World
The overall ethos of this programme reflects the transforming nature of the Bible when interpreted well and applied to life. It will prepare you for contemporary mission to the world in diverse forms, church-based ministry or further academic study. The core module will demonstrate and engage hermeneutical tools for understanding the biblical text well, and applying it to life. It will highlight the nature of biblical wisdom, the way it has been understood, and its transforming effects in and through the life of the believer.

1 Week Course
A residential Precept-Upon-Precept study week will enrich your understanding of God's Word and deepen your walk with Him. Part or all of a Precept-Upon-Precept in-depth study is completed and it is suitable for those new to inductive study as well as those seasoned in the method. You will leave feeling refreshed and strengthened, having met with God through the study of His Word.

Biblical Interpretation

You can use this programme to study for a two-year part-time Certificate in Theology validated by the University of Bristol. These classes will enable the student to complete 120 credits.If you prefer, you can simply audit a course (attend classes but not do any written work).This course will help you to interpret the Bible then and now.

These are weekly lectures which take place on a Monday evening on a wide range of biblical and Christian subjects. There are two sessions each evening with a short refreshment break in-between.

Bibletrack
An introduction to the Bible, this track aims to help you become familiar with its story, know its key themes and learn how to read it wisely in today's world. It covers such topics as: The story of the Bible, The different kinds of writing in the Bible, In depth introductions to some key book and some central Bible themes.

1 Day Course
This workshop will introduce you to Precept's most in-depth inductive Bible study range, Precept-Upon-Precept (PUP). You will learn how to handle the material accurately and this course also fulfills the requirement for you to lead a PUP class. (PUP in-depth studies require up to 5 hours study time per lesson, teaching you inductive study tools as you go. Groups must be led by a trained leader.)

BA (Hons), DipHE and CertHE
The church needs Christians who have thought through the implications of their faith and can relate it incisively, relevantly and practically to society. The Theology programme is academically rigorous but also addresses the changing cultural and intellectual climate. It is a dynamic and innovative programme that does not neglect key foundational principles of an evangelical faith.

BA (Hons), DipHE and CertHE
LST has a vision to see Christian counsellors who are both theologically articulate and professionally trained. This need is met through our integrated theology and counselling programme, run in partnership with CWR. It's for people interested in training for pastoral ministry or mission with a strongly individual focus, and people interested in becoming professional Christian counsellors with a well-laid foundation in the Bible and theology.

BA (Hons), DipHE and CertHE
Worship is integral to the corporate and individual lives of those who love God and music has always been used as a creative means of expressing worship. This combined honours programme is the only one of its kind in Europe and combines a wide range of music styles and perspectives with core theological teaching. This inspiring and challenging programme is offered at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level. It was developed with the Music & Worship Foundation (MWF), and draws on its wide network of worship leaders and professional Christian musicians.
