In 1611, the Authorised Version of the Bible was first published in English. The Bible has been part of the life of the English speaking people for four  hundred years now. None of us can remember a time when the Bible wasn’t available to us in English, but the same can’t be said for the people of Burkina Faso, where most of the languages do not have a Bible available to them.

Biblefresh is partnering with Churches in Burkina Faso, Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Bible Society to help bring the Bible to the Bissa Peoples of Burkina. There is a New Testament in the Bissa Lebir language, but no Old Testament, while the Bissa Barka people don’t even have a New Testament. Imagine if you could not read the Gospels, the Psalms, Genesis or Paul’s letters in your own language. How would you grow and develop in your faith? How would you get to know more about God’s grace and love for you?

God has blessed the English speaking people with his Word in their language for four hundred years. Shouldn’t we share this blessing with others? By giving to the Biblefresh translation project, you can help bring the Bible to the Bissa. Please give generously.
